Equity Growth Research was founded in 1999, at a time when the City had started to consolidate and force major broking firms to concentrate on large, liquid stocks and corporate transactions. With fewer institutions to target as potential for smaller companies, there was less of an incentive for brokers to follow them. As a result, many of the smaller companies were increasingly under-researched and Equity Growth Research was formed to address this unfulfilled need. Since then we have been building up our research capability and coverage. Our team comprises qualified professionals with backgrounds in stockbroking, equity research and investment management.
